How to get to Reisa National Park

You arrive in Nordreisa and Storslett before going to the Reisa National Park. Nordreisa is one of few National Park Villages in Norway. There is a 60 km drive along the Reisa Valley on County Road 865 to get to the outskirts of the national park.

Nordreisa is more than 200 km east of Tromsø, 170 km west of Alta, and 400 km southwest of North Cape.

When flying to the area, you can fly all the way to Nordreisa and Sørkjosen airport. A Dash 7 from the airline Widerøe departs daily from both Tromsø and Hammerfest to Sørkjosen.

Major airports close to Nordreisa with direct connecting flights to Oslo and other cities in Norway are Alta and Tromsø.

It is possible to travel by bus either from Alta or Tromsø to Nordreisa.

Another travel arrangment would include porting at Skjervøy with Hurtigruten. Skjervøy is 50 km from Sørkjosen. Individual ground transportation must be arranged between Skjervøy and Nordreisa.

Ask for advice when desirable.
