BirdSafari a/s Celebrates 20 Years

BirdSafari a/s in Gjesvær, North Cape, started to offer excursions to the Gjesværstappan Nature Reserve with larger vessels in 1992.

A large number of travelers are using buses to get around on Magerøya. To be able to offer service to these important visitors it was necessary to have a boat with capacity of at least 50 persons.

The company rented MS Lundekongen and has since bought the boat. Along with a second boat, MS Havsula, the company are able to show the extraordinary birdlife at Gjesværstappan to almost 10 000 guests every summer.

In 2012, visitors can celebrate the 20th anniversary together with the Puffins, Gannets, White-tailed Eagles and the staff at BirdSafari a/s.

Dann sind Sie richtig bei Schreiben am Nordkap. Wir bieten im Mai und September einwöchige Schreibkurse an, in denen wir mit Worten spielen, clustern, Plots kreieren, Settings setzen und natürlich schreiben, schreiben und nochmals schreiben.

Transit of Venus 2012

Every now and then we experience a Solar Eclipse, when the Moon is passing and covering the Sun. A more infrequent celestial moment occurs when the planet Venus passes just in front of the Sun. The last time this happened was on June 8th 2004.

If you miss the event on June 6th, 2012 you will have to wait 105 years for the next opportunity.
